Music has the power to transform lives
- For individuals, listening to music
- For performers, re-creating the music composed by others
- For and by composers
And most importantly for society.
There are many examples of how music transforms lives, including the children and their families involved in Systema Scotland (the Big Noise Project in Raploch, Stirling).
Our role in society
Recognising that we are part of society, and with the aim of working as if we live in the early days of a Better Nation, we contribute regularly to a number of causes:
- Start-up Stirling
Supporting individuals and families in the Stirlingshire area who are experiencing homelessness, housing difficulties and financial hardship (a Stirling Churches initiative) - CARE International
Transform a Life with a £15 Microloan
We've lent over £700 to entrepreneurs to help them work themselves out of poverty - Crisis
The UK charity for single homeless people - Macmillan Cancer Support
- The Royal School of Church Music
